I get so excited when I have both a ripe avocado and bacon. Together, they make a delicious sandwich, so I couldn't wait to have that for lunch today. As if that weren't enough to make my day, the California strawberries I bought last night turned out to be amazingly sweet. Living in the Midwest, we rarely get sweet strawberries, since they're normally shipped to us from California or Latin America. I'm guessing they're picked when they're still a bit green so when I buy them they're rarely sweet. But the kids eat them anyway.
