ascending/descending

As an artist and crafter, married to a professional photographer, I just expect that my children have inherited genes that help them see the world in a different way than most people. Yet, my five-year-old son often comes up with things that completely amaze me. Maybe they're not that incredible to other people, but I think he's absolutely wonderful and it makes me so happy when he comes up with unique ideas.

This morning, he took out an egg carton out of the paper recycling and cut its structural support pieces in descending order. Or maybe ascending, I didn't see which one he cut first. After he was done he showed me how one "cave" was bigger than the others.
