St. Patrick's Day bierocks

Being Mexican, Irish food doesn't sound very appetizing to me, other than cabbage because I think that's an international food for the thrifty. So today for St. Patrick's day I decided to make bierocks. I remember eating those back when I lived in western Kansas. Many of the of the original settlers are German and some of their food and customs still exist today. I think the bierock was brought over by Volga Germans. The're stuffed with cooked ground beef, cabbage, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. I learned how to make them when I worked at a restaurant while I was in high school. They're eaten with ketchup! I'm sure they're super tasty with beer, but I'm pregnant right now and cannot have any.

Next time my Polish mil tries to get me to eat saurkraut I am going to tell her that we can afford better, that cabbage is international food for the thrifty. LMAO!

Your bierocks look yummy. I am irish and I hate cabbage. I am pretty sure most actual Irish do, too.
